Allison Transmission part number 29539579 is a spin-on transmission fluid filter that collects debris flowing through the Allison 1000 transmission used on 2001-2019 Chevrolet and GMC trucks with the 6.6L Duramax diesel engine.

This is a genuine GM original equipment part from Allison Transmission spin-on filter.  There is a magnet sold separately that is often overlooked and thrown away due to it sticking to the filter when removed and replaced.  Make sure you have the proper protection against metallic debris, and clean or replace the magnet if it is missing.
