Huckstorf Diesel part number GM6 is a rebuilt turbocharger for 1996-2002 Chevrolet and GMC vans and Hummer applications with the 6.5L diesel engine.

Huckstorf Diesel rebuilds exchange GM6 turbochargers for the 1996-2002 6.5 Chevy/GMC GM 6.5L diesel engines in van applications. These turbos are rebuilt using all the necessary parts to make them perform as good as, or better than new. Our technicians carefully inspect each part. All parts that don’t pass our strict criteria get replaced. We do not install inferior, lower quality, less expensive parts. Each turbo is carefully balanced and reassembled to give you the optimal performance.

This is a rebuilt exchange turbocharger used on GM 6.5L engines. The GM part number is. Necessary turbo O-rings and or mounting gaskets are included.

Core Charges

This part requires an acceptable matching rebuildable core be sent in to avoid paying the core charges.

With Core Option = Means you will pay the core charge up front, and when an acceptable core is returned to Huckstorf Diesel, the core charge will be refunded back to you.  An acceptable matching core must be received within 30 days of the ship date to receive full core credit.

Without Core Option = An acceptable matching core must be received before the exchange is sent out.

An acceptable core is one that is rebuildable with typical replacement parts.  Major damage such as rust, housing damage, critical broken parts will be a reason for partial or no core refund.  If you have any questions about this policy, please call or send your pump in first for inspection.  Normally, a pump that comes off a running engine in need of typical repairs is fine.  Pumps that sat for years in junkyards, fire damaged, collision damaged, etc. may not be accepted.
