Huckstorf Diesel part number 897307711 is a rebuilt turbocharger for 2001-2004 Chevrolet and GMC trucks with the 6.6L LB7 Duramax diesel engine.

This is a factory replacement rebuilt exchange turbocharger used on the 2001-2004 Duramax LB7 engines.  Necessary turbo o-rings and mounting gaskets are included.  These turbos are fully disassembled and rebuilt with high quality parts.  The rotating assembly is balanced for optimum performance and long life.  These turbos work great with stock and mild power upgrades.

The stock 2001-2004 LB7 Duramax turbocharger is made by IHI.  It has quick spooling and was designed for stock applications rated at 300 HP.  This turbo will support additional power upgrades to around 530 HP.  It features a 60.6 mm compressor & 68 mm turbine with maximum boost limit recommendations around 23-24 PSI.  Failures often occur from over speed if the waste gate is clamped or stuck closed.

Core Charges

This part requires an acceptable matching rebuildable core be sent in to avoid paying the core charges.

With Core Option = Means you will pay the core charge up front, and when an acceptable core is returned to Huckstorf Diesel, the core charge will be refunded back to you.  An acceptable matching core must be received within 30 days of the ship date to receive full core credit.

Without Core Option = An acceptable matching core must be received before the exchange is sent out.

An acceptable core is one that is rebuildable with typical replacement parts.  Major damage such as rust, housing damage, critical broken parts will be a reason for partial or no core refund.  If you have any questions about this policy, please call or send your pump in first for inspection.  Normally, a pump that comes off a running engine in need of typical repairs is fine.  Pumps that sat for years in junkyards, fire damaged, collision damaged, etc. may not be accepted.
