Bosch part number 1110010036 is a high pressure relief valve found on the fuel block of 2001-2004 GM trucks with the LB7 Duramax 6.6L diesel engines.

This is the valve for the 2001-2004 GM trucks with the LB7 Duramax 6.6L diesel engines.  These valves are known to go bad and open prematurely, causing a “fuel rail PSI low” problem.  Once a valve is weakened it tends to get worse.  Replacing the valve with a new one is much safer than shimming it and taking your chances with the high (25,000+ PSI) pressures that this valve was designed to protect from.
