2001-2004 GM LB7 6.6L Duramax Fuel Return Line Banjo Bolt 97228929

Original GM part number 97228929 fuel return line banjo bolt found under the valve cover on the injector of 2001-2004 Chevrolet and GMC trucks with the LB7 6.6L Duramax diesel engine.

This diesel fuel injector return line banjo bolt gets easily stripped out when removing and installing injectors on the 2001-2004 LB7 Duramax engine.  It is critical that these bolts seal properly.  If not the return fuel from the injector leaks under the valve cover and dilutes the engine oil.  The proper torque for this bolt is 12 foot pounds.  This is an original General Motors part.
