2004.5-2005 GM LLY 6.6L Duramax Common Rail High Pressure Relief Valve 1110010024

Bosch part number 1110010024 high pressure relief valve found on the driver’s side fuel rail of 2004.5-2005 GM trucks with the LLY Duramax 6.6L diesel engine.

This is the valve for the 2004.5 – 2005 Duramax LLY engines.  We recommend using the LBZ engine version due to the slightly higher opening PSI.  These valves are known to go bad and open prematurely, causing a “fuel rail PSI low” problem.  Once a valve is weakened it tends to get worse.  Replacing the valve with a new one is much safer than shimming it and taking your chances with the high (25,000+ PSI) pressures that this valve was designed to protect from.
