Delphi part number HFP909 is a diesel fuel feed pump for 1990-1997 Chevrolet and GMC trucks with the 6.2L or 6.5L diesel engine.

From 1990-1997, GM 6.2L and 6.5L vehicles used mechanical or an electric feed pump to supply a low pressure fuel, typically around 5 PSI, to the mechanical injection pump.  The part numbers vary according to the chassis style.  This is the mechanical pump that bolts to the side of the engine block.
