FASS Fuel Systems part number HK1001 is a single electric fuel heater kit for Titanium Series and Titanium Signature Series FASS Fuel systems.

Titanium Series single electric heater kits are an upgrade to the FASS Titanium Series and Titanium Signature Series Systems being used in cold climates.  Each FASS Titanium Series System has 2 ports for electric heaters which help aid in cold weather starts and keeps fuel from gelling at the FASS System filters while driving in cold temperatures.  The heater will begin warming once the key is in the on position and will automatically shut off after the proper temperature has been reached.  While FASS Fuel Systems are built to start your diesel engine in the coldest of temperatures, adding a FASS electric heater kit will reduce filter clogging from frozen fuel in the FASS filters.  When the fuel temperature drops below 34° Fahrenheit, the thermostatically controlled electric heater kit will automatically power on when the ignition key is in the on position.  Fuel is then heated by the 100-watt heating element as the fuel is entering the FASS System, reducing gelling of the diesel fuel in the FASS filters.  When the engine is running, the FASS system returns the majority of the fuel back to the fuel tank, which continually polishes the fuel.  This process, along with the return fuel from the engine, will heat the fuel in the fuel tank, further preventing gelling.  Once the fuel reaches optimal temperature, the Electric Heater Kit will automatically power off, eliminating the possibility of overheating the diesel fuel.

• Single 300-watt Electric Diesel Fuel Heater Disk Kit HK1001D for continued cold weather driving in below freezing temperatures.
• Ultimate Triple Electric Diesel Fuel Heater Kit HK1003U for extreme cold weather driving.
