2001-2026 GM 6.6L Duramax / Allison Transmission Flywheel Bolt

GM part number 11610965 is a flex plate bolt used on 2001-2026 GM trucks with the 6.6L Duramax diesel engine and Allison automatic transmission.

(FLEX PLATE) (M16X45X1.5) These are the bolts that hold the flywheel to the crankshaft.  They are not to be reused because they stretch when tightening.

These bolts remain the same from the 2001 LB7 all the way through the current 2026 L5P trucks equipped with an Allison automatic transmission.  These bolts secure the flex plate / flywheel to the crankshaft and are torqued to 79 Nm. (58 ft. lbs.), skipping two bolts each time in a clockwise rotation.  Then tighten 60 more degrees using the same sequence.  Then tighten another 60 degrees for the third and final step.
