Bosch part number 1465ZS0054 is a CP3 diesel injection pump regulator MPROP for 2007-2018 & 2021-2024 Dodge Ram trucks with the 6.7L Cummins diesel engines.

This is a new Bosch fuel pressure regulator that came as standard equipment on the 2007-2018 & 2021-2024 Dodge Ram 6.7L Cummins diesel engines.  In 2019 and 2020, the CP4 injection pump was used, but with the problems that the pump had with poor fuel quality, Cummins switched back to the CP3 style pump.  Bosch is the world’s leading OE supplier of diesel fuel systems for passenger cars and trucks. Bosch aftermarket products are produced to the same exacting specifications as the OEM products.  The CP3 pump regulator controls the fuel pressure that is being sent to the injector fuel rails and the injectors themselves.  Over time, these will wear out or be contaminated, causing inaccurate pressure control.  It is common to have an uneven idle or a loping idle.  If the problem is bad enough, the varying idle RPM can cause the vehicle to want to move while stopped.

The typical life expectancy of the CP3 pump is 150,000 miles.  If your pump is near or past this mileage, our recommendation is to not replace just the regulator, but instead install a whole new pump that comes with a new regulator installed.
