Automotive Racing Products ARP part number 247-4205 is a Custom Age 625+ head stud kit for 1989-1998 (12 Valve) Dodge Ram trucks with a 5.9L Cummins diesel engine.

CUSTOM AGE 625 PLUS®: This newly formulated super-alloy demonstrates superior fatigue cycle life, tensile strength and toughness – with complete resistance to atmospheric corrosion and oxidation. ARP is the first to develop manufacturing and testing processes for fasteners with Custom Age 625+. It is expected to soon replace MP-35 as the material of choice in the high strength, super-alloy field. Typical tensile strength is 260,000-280,000 psi.

This is the extreme level head stud kit that performs better than the factory head bolts and the ARP 2000 series.  If aggressive modifications like larger injectors, bigger turbo or turbos, and engine programming are used, this kit is recommended.
