BorgWarner part number 12709882080 is a new performance upgrade turbocharger for 2020-2023 Chevrolet and GMC GM trucks with a 6.6L L5P Duramax diesel engine.

BorgWarner is the original equipment supplier for GM L5P turbochargers.  When it comes time for a stock or higher performance replacement, BorgWarner has the engineering data to make a replacement turbocharger for either stock power levels or to provide more air for higher performance levels while keeping the OEM quality, driving characteristics, and reliability that the original turbocharger is known for.  The stock power level for the 2017-2019 L5P engines was 445 HP.  This performance upgrade turbo will support 600 HP.  Engineered as a direct-fit replacement for the factory unit, this turbocharger ensures seamless installation.  These turbochargers have all the latest upgrades and are built to meet or exceed original equipment standards.  Every BorgWarner replacement turbo is manufactured with premium materials and precision craftsmanship.

This turbo is for higher performance applications.  For a factory replacement intended to be used with stock or slightly higher power levels, use BorgWarner’s OE replacement turbo part number 12709881080.

By enhancing the OE BorgWarner turbo on these vehicles, the upgraded B2BV SX-R offers the following features and benefits:

• Forged Milled Wheel (FMW) compressor with an increased inducer size of 64.0mm.
• SX-R aerodynamics for increased efficiency across the compressor map.
• Extended Tip Technology results in compressor performance increases without loss of response.
• Flow capacity to support 600HP with appropriate supporting modifications.
• Direct-fit compatibility with the original BorgWarner supplied B2BV turbocharger.
• Provided with a new actuator and installation gasket kit.
• Product use: For off-road use only in performance race applications.
