Ford part number HC3Z6C683A is an oil filter located in the turbocharger pedestal that protects the boost pressure solenoid from debris on 2017-2023 Ford trucks with the 6.7L PowerStroke diesel engine.

When replacing the turbocharger, be sure to install a new filter screen, located in the turbo pedestal, to ensure proper operation of the boost pressure solenoid.

• Pedestal/Oil Filtration: The 2017–2023 models feature an improved turbo pedestal design with a built-in oil screen to reduce debris, whereas earlier 2015–2016 models had the filter screen inside the oil line connector.
