Maximum Duramax Diesel Performance
The S&B cold air intake for the 2017-2019 GM 6.6L L5P Duramax Diesel Performance Air Intake System was engineered to minimize air restriction and flows 47.70% better than stock. This kit comes with a fully enclosed air box that protects the filter from dirt and keeps out engine heat.

More Airflow + Less Restriction
More air equals better performance. One of the great benefits of this kit is the multiple airflow configurations. The L5P intake kit features two large air inlet points. If you want to customize the amount of air you take in, included is an optional box plug that can seal off one inlet point.  Plus, on this L5P intake kit, an integrated silicone air scoop into the factory hood ducting feeds even more air to the filter.  This intake removes the restrictive baffles that hurt performance and quiets down your engine.  Attention to detail results in significant decreases in restriction as compared to stock intake.

Premium Silicone Components
The air filter, coupler, lid seal and box plug are all made with silicone. Silicone is a premium rubber which will seal better and last longer. It handles temperatures as high as 400F without cracking or tearing and won’t deteriorate over time.

No Check Engine Lights
S&B devotes a huge amount of resources to engineering intakes that allow your engine to run properly with stock calibration or enhanced tuning. This kit was designed to avoid check engine lights. Featuring an injection molded MAF (Mass Air Flow) plate ensures a true OE seal to the sensor.
