2015-2016 Ford 6.7L PowerStroke Diesel Engine Turbo Pedestal Mounting Update Kit

Alliant Power part number AP0198 is a kit that will allow a 2017-2023 Ford 6.7L turbocharger to be used on a 2015-2016 Ford truck.

When installing an 888142-5001S (Cab & Chassis) or 888143-5001S (Pickup) turbocharger on a 2015-2016 Ford 6.7L PowerStroke, this AP0198 turbo mounting pedestal update kit is required to update the turbocharger mounting pedestal, coolant lines and related hardware to the newer 2017-2023 style pedestals.

This kit enables you to convert from the externally top oil-fed turbocharger to the new style internally oil-fed & drained turbocharger that was found on 2017-2023 Ford F-Series trucks.  Failure to do so, will lead to oil starvation and bearing failure of your new turbocharger.
