Note: Your application may require Ford Updated Coolant Line PN# FC3Z-9U469-A (with Hold Down Bolt Position on Left / Driver Side of Turbo). If the turbo being removed from the vehicle has the coolant line hold down bolt on the right side / passenger side, you will need the new coolant line.

Ford part number FC3Z6K682A is the turbocharger that was on engines with trucks that have a build date of 1/15/2015 through 7/05/2016. The new Ford number is HC3Z6K682A which is the turbo used on 2017-2019 pickup applications. When using the newer style turbo on a truck that originally came with the older version, the following part numbers are needed for the upgrade. The Garrett turbocharger listed here on this page is available and is a direct bolt in replacement that does not require additional parts. If you would like to use the newer style turbo, it is an option with the use of the listed parts.
- Turbo Design Continuity: The 2015 and 2017 both use the Garrett GT37 with a 61mm compressor and 72.5mm turbine wheel.
- Pedestal/Oil Filtration: The 2017–2019 models feature an improved turbo pedestal design with a built-in oil screen to reduce debris, whereas earlier 2015–2016 models had the filter screen inside the oil line connector.
