2004-2010 Ford 6.0L Power Stroke Stand Pipe & Front Port Plug Upgrade

Diesel Site part number StandPipe60 is a stand pipe and front port plug “dummy plug” kit for 2004.5-2010 Ford 6.0L, 2006-2010 Ford LCF 4.5L, 2004-2007 Navistar VT365, 2006 Navistar VT275, and 2007-2010 MaxxForce 5 diesel engines.

THE ISSUE WITH STAND PIPES:
The stand pipes in the high pressure oil systems on HEUI systems have been a source of leaks.  Diesel Site has a solution by improving the quality of the sealing rings and part fitment.
The quality of Ford kits has declined and flaws are noticeable.  The wrong o-ring material, poor machining on the oil ports that are thinner and vulnerable to breaking, and o-ring grooves and fitment are very bad quality.
THE DIESEL SITE SOLUTION:
These stand pipe shafts are redesigned to accept a back-up o-ring on EVERY o-ring which is made of the proper material and durometer (hardness).  There are double o-rings (and back-up o-rings) on the inside shaft and tighter tolerances for the o-rings.
DIESEL SITE standpipes will ship disassembled for o-ring inspection and pre-greased.
A 1-year warranty covers a replacement set in the event of any manufacturing defects.

INSTALLATION INFORMATION:
THESE STANDPIPES WILL COME DISASSEMBLED and GREASED.  Do not reassemble dry.
While you may add additional grease, DO NOT add or use motor oilpetroleum jelly, or engine assembly lube.
These materials are not compatible or are not sufficient; use a GC-LB” [ex: bearing] grease.
Please inspect all o-rings and confirm the placement of safety o-rings prior to installation.
 

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
The o-rings on these stand pipes are NON-SERVICEABLE and you should consider each seal a one-time use.
These 6.0L stand pipe o-rings are not to be rolled.  They are made in a special shape, more so than just a basic circular o-ring, and rolling these o-rings will make them susceptible to failure.  Proper sealing and re-sealing procedure requires special tooling that stretches the o-ring into place where it must then sit for a period of 24–48 hours and shrink back to form.  The tool to do so was never made available to the public.
