Garrett part number 778445-5002S is a new performance upgrade turbocharger for 2003-2006 Volkswagen TDI Diesel cars with the 1.9L BEW diesel engine.

Garrett Advancing Motion offers this performance upgrade turbocharger.  This is the perfect power upgrade for performance-minded Volkswagen TDI Beetle, Golf, or Jetta cars. The Garrett GT1749V is a performance upgrade / replacement turbocharger available for Volkswagen 1.9L TDI BEW Engines.  The 1.9L BEW TDI engine was rated at 100 HP.  This Garrett PowerMax turbo will support up to 175 HP.  The GT1749V comes equipped with a smart actuator, an industry exclusive, and a position sensor, which enables the turbocharger to communicate automatically with the Engine Control Unit (ECU). The kit is easy to install and suitable as a performance upgrade or replacement turbocharger. The Garrett VW TDI Kit also promotes a longer turbo and engine life span and increased reliability by lowering exhaust gas temperatures.
