2001-2004 GM 6.6L LB7 Duramax Diesel Valve Cover Spacer Gasket Kit

Mahle part number VS50438 is a pair of gaskets that go between the cylinder head and the aluminum valve cover spacer on 2001-2004 GM trucks with the LB7 6.6L Duramax diesel engine.

The 6.6L Duramax engine uses a spacer between the head and the valve cover.  This is the gasket between the spacer and the head.  This gasket was used on 2001–2004 LB7 Duramax engines.  This kit includes two gaskets, enough for one engine.  The valve cover is sealed to the top side of the spacer with RTV gasket maker.
