Transfer Case Brace

Transfer Case Brace = Strengthens the rear half of the transmission by moving the weight load off the rear housing and moving it to the stronger transmission case.  We have seen many times where a broken drive shaft or just a bad universal joint can cause such a vibration that the transfer case moves around enough to break the rear transmission housing.

Billet Flex Plate

Billet Flex Plate = This flywheel/flex plate is an improved billet one piece design, eliminates the heavy cast iron and the weak stamped steel flex plate. This is a must with the high torque in conjunction with a better designed torque converter that can transfer the torque with no slip. With increased torque from the engine and no slip out of the converter it can crack and/or rip the center out of a stock flex plate.  These are SFI certified flywheel flex plates.  They are required on drag racing vehicles running 11.99 and quicker in the 1/4 mile and 7.49 and quicker in the 1/8 mile, or any vehicle exceeding 135 mph. The SFI rules for the flex plate require that the material can not be a stamped metal as many OEM and after market flex plates are. To maintain the SFI specification 29.3 requirements, the flex plate must be replaced every three years.  Don't forget to replace the flex plate bolts, since they are only intended to be used one time.

Billet Input and Output Shafts

Billet Input & Output Shafts = The shafts on an Allison 1000 transmission are pretty beefy to begin with, but the high shock loads of drag racing or the high torque loads of truck pulling finds any weakness.

Billet Hub Upgrade

Billet Hub Upgrade = Finish off your build with the billet P2 hub.  This comes as a kit with a machined P2 planetary, P1 sun gear, C2 clutch hub sleeve and washer.  Your parts are sent in as cores so they can be modified for the next person.  Additional charges apply if your parts are bad.
