GM Duramax Flywheel Bolt
These are the bolts that hold the flywheel to the crankshaft. They are not to be reused because they stretch when tightening.
These bolts have been the same from the 2001 LB7 all the way through the 2016 LML. They are torqued to 79 Nm. (58 ft. lbs.) skipping two bolts each time in a clockwise rotation. Then tighten 60 more degrees using the same sequence. Then tighten another 60 degrees for the third and final step.
These are listed individually. There are a total of eight required per engine.
