All the clutch components in this assembly are made of steel. The center plate is lugged to fit the flywheel. This complete clutch has no special requirements for install. It is a direct replacement of the OEM clutch. All flywheels will have a bronze/feramic insert that will be removable. This feature will allows the replacement of the insert, instead of the flywheel, when it is time to be rebuilt. 1999-2000 non-HO engines require a 1 3/8" input shaft upgrade.
Lever type pressure plate with heavy increase in pedal pressure, 6 ceramic buttons per side of disc, 800 hp (good for drag racing). This clutch does require hydraulic upgrades.
The competition dual disc is intended for competition use in drag racing. This clutch is designed for up to 800 HP.
